Human Resource Coordinator

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to work closely with the Operations team to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties.
The successful candidate will facilitate daily HR functions such as keeping track of employee records and supporting the recruitment and onboarding process of our members as well as assist in ad- hoc projects.

Responsibilities
• Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates though various external
recruitment sites and social media; assist in shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and
issuing employment contracts.
• Liaise with other departments in the onboarding of new employees (Operations, Payroll, IT) ensuring all employment and training requirements are met.
• Maintain records of personnel-related data to assist with HR programs and reporting.
• Assist the Regional Managers in performance management procedures (ie. reviews, surveys)
• Assist in scheduling HR meetings and events and maintaining the team’s agenda and minutes.
• Coordinate the scheduling and communication of training sessions.
• Assist in HR projects such as our annual staff conference, coordinating communication of our familiarization trips, collection of employee feedback and material for staff newsletter.

Requirements and skills
• Experience in a HR coordinator role or relevant human resources/administrative position
• Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
• Knowledge of Excel and record databases
• Familiarity with the recruiting process and onboarding employees
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• University or College education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
